2 MLB players sell luxury homes in Phoenix’s Arcadia area

Two Major League Baseball players were among the buyers and sellers of the priciest metro Phoenix houses to sell in early-to-mid December.

Paul Breaux and Kimberly Niehaus paid cash for a 10,691-square-foot mansion on the Phoenix side of the Arcadia neighborhood. He is general counsel at Carvana. She is head of investor relations for Opendoor. The house has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and views of Camelback Mountain. Andre and Maggie Ethier sold it. Andre was an outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2006 to 2017. She is a former All-American gymnast. Jon Condo of Compass had the listing.

CB Arizona LLC paid cash for a 7,493-square-foot new Paradise Valley home with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The house has a butler’s pantry, a wine room, an office, a theater, a gym, a 1,700-square-foot outdoor terrace and a movie lawn. Anthem IAG LLC, led by Craig Swanson, founding principal of Irvine Asset Group, sold it.
