$17M north Scottsdale mansion sets record for price per square foot
A north Scottsdale mansion sold for $17 million, setting the price-per-square foot record for the area. Investment advisers, a vehicle firm executive and a real estate agent were among the buyers and sellers of metro Phoenix’s priciest houses to sell during the third week of July.
The Derryberry and Evans Trust paid cash for a new 9,686-square-foot mansion in north Scottsdale’s Silverleaf community. The modern Mediterranean house with five bedrooms and 6½ bathrooms sold for a record price per square foot for the area at $1,755. The home comes with a bar, wine room, a cold plunge and a linear fireplace in the primary suite as well a game room with balcony.
Michale and McKenzie Perini were the sellers. He’s an investment adviser. Brock Mackenzie and Deborah Beardsley of Silverleaf Realty were the listing agents.
